Job Purpose:

The primary responsibilities of the Assertive Community Treatment Team Psychiatrist are to
evaluate, diagnose, and prescribe medications for people we support diagnosed with mental disorders to enhance
the quality of life through services that enables them to achieve their personal dreams and goals and be integrated
into the community with the greatest possible degree of self-determination and independence.

Prerequisites:

  1. Graduation in good standing from an accredited medical school and the attainment of an MD/DO.
  2. Completion of a three to five year residency in child and/or adult psychiatry.
  3. Three years of post-residency experience in child and/or adult psychiatry preferred.
  4. Board certified, or board eligible (proof required), in psychiatry from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
  5. North Carolina licensure in good standing.
  6. Experience in telepsychiatry preferred.
  7. Valid North Carolina Driver License

Position:  Clinical Director
Job Description: The new Clinical Director will be responsible for supervising the clinical services at Eliada Homes. This will include supervision and training of Clinicians, the Case Manager, and the Admissions/Discharge Coordinator. The Director will ensure appropriate clinical coverage on campus at all times, collaborate with the Residential Director to ensure teamwork and communication between staff members, participate in weekly Cottage Supervisor meeting, participate in referral meetings, and attending weekly team meetings on a rotating schedule. The Clinical Director will be responsible for the budgets of assigned service areas.

Knowledge: Full licensure as a LCSW, LMFT, LPC with Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy. Knowledge of diagnostic issues, clinical interventions, group dynamics, interdisciplinary teamwork, clinical services delivery models, evidence based practices, and experiential therapies.

Experience: A minimum of 2 years supervisory experience with a minimum of 3 years direct clinical service experience  working with the child and adolescent mental health population.

Skills/Physical/Working Conditions: Position requires excellent training, supervision, interpersonal, documentation and organizational skills. Position includes 24/7 administrative on-call duties.
